Site Supervisor
We are seeking an exceptional Site Supervisor to join our friendly and supportive team at St Peter's Primary School. Under the general direction of the Headteacher and Bursar, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the school premises through a range of cleaning and caretaking duties. Our current site supervisor has unfortunately had to take retirement at short notice hence our need to recruit as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out cleaning duties to the agreed quality standards
Provide security and supervision of the site and related equipment
Act as a key holder, performing security procedures
Undertake minor DIY and maintenance tasks
Prepare the school premises for out-of-school activities
Qualifications and Experience:
Experience in a similar caretaking or site supervision role is desirable
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Good practical skills and knowledge of basic DIY and maintenance
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Commitment to providing a high-quality service

Salary: £21,152 pro rata (Foundation Living Wage)
Hours - 26 hours a week all year round. Holidays - 26 days a year (rising to 32 for length of service) plus 8 days Bank Holidays.
Hours suggested as (Term Time) 7am - 9am and 5pm - 8pm (1 hour later one day). However, this is highly flexible and will be on negotiation with the successful candidate. Holiday time working of 6 weeks (equivalent) per calendar year is to be agreed with the Head and Bursar, but will include at least 2 weeks (equivalent) for summer deep cleaning and some hours working in each of the other school holidays. We aim to work with the right candidate to establish a work pattern that supports both the school and the person in the role.
